HMS Belfast in 2009

On 11th August 2009, Mum, Susie, Choad and I visited HMS Belfast on the River Thames.

HMS Belfast is a historic Town-class light cruiser and London landmark permanently moored on the River Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Launched on St. Patrick’s Day in 1938 and commissioned in 1939, it is the largest preserved warship in Europe and serves as a museum operated by the Imperial War Museum.
